The Flash Series Premire - Review What?!

Here, once again, DC Comics comes in with a new astonishing series. The Flash is the new TV Series based on The New 52 Flash comics, which I intensely read, I bet you all know who the Flash is, but in this thread I'll tell you everything that happens in The CW's pilot peak I got the chance to watch, which was pretty cool.

Warning: This is a review so...Spoilers Ahead

Alright... so the episode started with Barry running around the streets of Central City Barry said that he's gonna tell a story, that we had to believe in him.

As a child, Barry was bullied, he said it was because he didn't have fast legs... Funny uh? But to quote Barry's mom Nora Allen "It is better to have a good heart than fast legs." Unfortunately she neither was fast enough to outrun her mysterious killer.
One night Barry woke up to a strange sound, when he went downstairs his mother was being choked to death by what he described as a ball of lightning, and before he knew it he was halfway across his neighborhood. Accused of the murder his dad had been imprisoned.

The Barry Allen of the present has become a GREAT forensic scientist, and when we see how he distinguished a Mustang Shelby GT500 just by looking at its tire tracks, his degree became quite obvious. Barry also has another passion: the particle accelerator, and when it turns on it will expand human knowledge beyond its boundaries.

Barry's adoptive family is all in the precinct. Joe West is Barry's adoptive father. When Barry's dad was accused and his mom died as a consequence he was left alone. At the time Joe was the investigating detective in Nora Allen's death. Iris West is Barry's adoptive sister, they grew up together so they are practically real brother and sister.

Joe went to a farm for the investigation and found the Mardon Brothers there as well as the Mustang. They obviously engage in a shootout and Joe's partner, Fred Chyre is shot dead, but the Mardon brothers escape in their helicopter. But a sudden storm cloud hits the plane

Doctor Harison Wells is the CEO of S.T.A.R. Labs, as well as a Physicist. He created the Particle Accelerator and tonight he was gonna turn it on, in fact he did turn it on. But something went wrong. To quote Doctor Wells "A dimensional barrier ruptured unleashing unknown energy into the world." Well, guess now we know how Barry got his powers. But he wasn't the only one affected by the Storm Cloud, 17 casualties.

At the time of the malfunction Barry is in his lab and he is struck by lightning. He is now being rushed to the hospital. Barry stays 9 months in a coma. While in coma, the hospital experiences sudden power outages while Barry is on cardiac arrest, he actually wasn't, Barry's heart beat was too fast for the machines to record it. He was then "shipped" to S.T.A.R. Labs.

When sleeping beauty wakes up Cisco Ramon and Caitlyn Snow await him at S.T.A.R. Labs along with Doctor Wells... in a Wheel Chair, he was injured during the Particle Accelerator incident. He stays long enough to let the doctor explain what happened. Cisco is what you can call an engineer, he makes the cool stuff for the Flash. And Caitlyn keeps control of the Flash.

At the precinct Barry finds out about his body's super speed and he is overwhelmed by it. All the cool sciences behind The Flash weren't revealed in the TV Show(YET) but the comic explains all of them and I suggest you all check it out.

The first(or second) thing Barry wants to do, of course, is to visit Iris. But out of the blue, Clyde Mardon shows up and Barry is all over him. When he Barry and Mardon confront Mardon disappears in a cloud. Clyde has been struck, too, by the Particle Accelerator and has now the power to control the weather, he uses this power to rob banks and commit crimes.

Barry's 300mph gets him crashed in water barrels subsequently breaking his his wrist. What's interesting is, he was healed in 3 hours.

Barry knows what happened to Mardon the cloud hit the plane and Mardon became a "MetaHuman" while his brother died. Joe doesn't believe Barry when he tells him.

Now the infamous Arrow makes his appearance having an inspiring conversation with Barry. The Arrow quotes:"I don't think that bolt of lightning struck you Barry, I Think it chose you." This inspiring discussion gave Berry the Idea to wear a costume.

No... Not Quite.

Yea. This is it.

Now Detective Joe and Detective Thawne are now at the farm and when Mardon is confronted he thinks he's god [ahahahahah]. On his plan to take on the world he creates a tornado.

THEORY TIME
So, Barry's superspeed means he can be at a million places at once that means that if he's running in a circle or back and forth if you shoot a bullet in his path he will 99.9% get hit.

Barry is trying to unravel the tornado but he gets hit by Mardon. But with a little of encouragement from doctor wells he's back on his feet, and is able to stop the Tornado. Joe then kills Mardon as he tries to kill Barry. That comes with a cost, Joe now knows Barry's secret.

Barry now goes to meet his dad in Iron Heights, Barry is gonna save lives, help people, and uncover his mother's killer.

Wait, wait... that's not it, there's a little cutscene at the end that shows the doctor STANDING UP and entering a secret room and activating some kind of podium that displays the headline:

Flash Missing

Vanishes in Crisis

April 25 2024

Does this mean the Crisis on Infinite Earths? Probably but there's really No Chance for it to be shown on TV, NO Chance. This is because Warner Bros. wont make any big budget DC characters appear on TV, and I understand, they want to keep their high budget DC characters where they could exploit them the most.

VERDICT:

Very good acting by every actor in that pilot especially Cloyd Mardon. I also Like The Science behind the Flash(which I think I made a post of). Though I did find the trailer a little too detailed, It might be just because I read the comics first or it was really detailed.

8.5/10

What did you guys think about tonight's pilot? Like or Dislike? What about the final scene? Did I miss anything?
