FIFA World Cup Semifinals - Brazil 1 - 7 Germany Blowout... Say What?!

I'm sure everybody heard or saw the One-sided World Cup match between the 4 world cups winner Germany vs. the 5 world cups winner Brazil. Brazil was hosting the world cup this year, and fans were destruct by the loss.

Let's start off with the obvious question/excuse: Did Neymar's injury/absence make a difference. For those of you who haven't heard, let's backtrack a little bit. Last Friday Brazil won over Colombia but the win came with a high price. The Brazilian player Neymar suffered a fractured vertebrae, leaving the team without their best player for the rest of the cup. Now Brazilians, Fans, and players are using Neymar's absence as an excuse. Check it out:
My question to you now is this: Did Neymar's absence really affect Brazil's loss/blowout?

One thing before we get into the good stuff has to be noted in favor of Brazil. At the beginning when the national anthem was playing only 2 out of the 11 German players were really singing along, while on the other side ALL of the Brazilian players were singing. Might be they're just home, or they have more integrity.

 Here is Brazil's lineup:

And here is Germany's:

In the first 7 minutes it seemed like the game was favoring Brazil with the most ball possession. But it looked like they were scared, as the ball got a little too close to Brazil's goal they'd just shoot it the other way, no matter where the ball went, just far from their goal.

11': Germany's corner, hit by Kroos, muller steps back a little bit and Goal right between Julio Cesar's legs. 0-1 Germany

Bit of pressure between Boateng and Marcelo as Boateng takes a dive and blocks Marcelo's goal/pass.

Germany's good defense keeps the ball out of goal territory.

22': Ball out, Germany puts it in Klose has the ball, shot to goal, Julio Cesar block, ball bounces back to Klose he has space and GOALL!!!! 0-2 Germany, and here starts the streak

23': Ball back in the field, no time to say "hey" and Kroos scores Goal! 0-3 Germany.

25': Ball back in the field once again and all i need to do is copy and paste my previous comment! 0-4 Germany. 4 goals in 15 mins

 And here come the tears:
 And more tears to come.

28': Khedira has the ball, he advances, he's at the goal. No one can believe it... 0-5 Germany! I bet by this time brazil has just given up.

To quote the commentators: "Martin?! they scored 4 goals in the last 6 minutes!"

The dream is gone by now.

Thiago Silva upset or no?!

And Germany now claiming hand ball. For fuck's sake you're 0-5 a penalty shot is not gonna do anything.

Now... the rest of the game is pretty boring with tears shed here and there, and at the 90' Oscar for Brazil gets 1 and the game ends Brazil 1-7 Germany.

Ok so by now you've either watched it or at least imagined it by this thread. Below I will comment on what I thought of the game.

For being a semifinals game between the world cup host Brazil and the 3 world cups winner Germany it as pretty one-sided, we can all agree with that. With Neymar out Brazil played very bad. What I think is, if Brazil was as good as we all thought it was one player wouldn't have made a difference even if that one player was Neymar. Another excuse is Thiago Silva, Thiago is a fairly good soccer player but he wasn't called in for the Brazilian team.

The Brazilian defense also was pretty bad, I honestly expected more from Julio Cesar, seen he was one of the best Goal-Keepers in the Serie A team Internazionale. David Luiz wasn't even in the game.
At least they had Oscar scoring "One of the most pointless World Cup goals."

Now I'll take the Brazilian's side. Brazil was the host of the WC2014 Germany could've shown some more respect since it was also a semi-finals game 1-7 with goals at 23', 24', 26', and 29. By Half Time they were 0-5 Germany. And Brazil's Oscar scored one goal at 90'. And Brazil even had 51% of ball possession. BLOWOUT.

After the game Brazilian coach quotes:"The Worst Day of My Life." And here I snap. You can't say that's the worst day of your life, you are the coach, there are people who would kill to be there where you are, you can't tell them it's your worst day, that's being cocky because Brazil already is one of the best National Teams in the world, Brazil already won 5 cups.

Scolari Quotes again: "I will be remembered as the coach to lose 7-1 but I knew that risk when I took the job," ok, are you saying you knew your team was bad? He continues "My message to the Brazilian people and fans is that we did what we could, and what we think was our best" Man, I don't wanna see your worst.

Though I gotta give a point to Scolari as he responds to the question "Did you think Neymar's absence had anything to do with your [embarrassing] loss?" like this, "No, no, no. Let's not try to find an excuse in Neymar."

So... This is all I have to say, What did you guys think of the game? Blowout or no? What do you think caused Brazil's loss(and don't you dare say Neymar)?

As always Say What?! Below.
