Barry
Allen is a Scientific Assistant for the Central City Police department who lost
his mother to something unexplainable. Up until that night he was just a normal
kid investigating his mom’s murder; but when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator
turned on everything changed. Struck by lightning Barry became the one thing
that was unexplainable, he became the flash.
Raised
by the CCPD detective, Joe West, with his daughter, Iris West, Barry has
investigated secretly the death of his mother. Joe being one of the arresting
officers, when he learned that what Barry described as a ball of light killing
his mother was real, the guilt upon him had him help Barry with the
investigation. They never caught the real killer but they thought it was Barry’s
father, who’s now imprisoned in Iron Heights Prison.
Doctor
Harris Wells was the one who, with the help of two other scientists, Cisco Ramon
and Caitlin Snow, were able to build the particle accelerator. When thus
exploded all of starling city was affected with the problem: from a man that
can change the weather, to one who can turn into poison and one who can blow
stuff up just by touching it.
This
new player has shown up, and whenever she touches something, it becomes an
explosive in matter of seconds. Barry brought her to his S.T.A.R. labs to learn
more about her abilities when General Eiling calls her one of their own. Doctor
Wells has worked with the general once before. His sole goal is to make his
army indestructible. When the bomb went off, she was visiting Central City and
contracted the so unwanted Plastique abilities. She is led to kill Eiling in
the hopes of stopping him from creating a super army
Meanwhile
Iris has started a blog about the Streak. Seeing this as a threat for her,
Barry tries to stop her. Realizing he can’t, he tries under a different mask.
