Week’s episode has been a real blast!!
Yes!
Iris is still writing about the Streak… or The Flash! And that has got her in
some trouble. Barry’s childhood bully is back in town but with a little
upgrade. The Particle accelerator has made Tony Woodward a man of steel, literally;
and this time Barry can’t do a whole lot to catch this guy. Finally, with the
help of Cisco and Caitlin, he is able to throw a superpunch and take this guy
out of the game for good, inside S.T.A.R. labs’ super-secret prison.
Meanwhile
detective west is “re-opening” unofficially Nora Allen’s case or that’s what he
want Doctor Wells to believe, and he has accomplished that very well. Joe’s
real objective was to dig a little bit deeper into the doctor’s past. This has
got them into a bad place between each other. The good thing, knowing his
mistake Detective West successfully got back at the doctor; and Barry got back
at Iris.
Someone
strange visits Joe at the end. The same thing that had killed Barry’s mother has
taken all that Detective Wells has dug up on the murder, and also threatens to
kill Iris.
Final Verdict
The
pace of the episode was well set and the mood between the characters made the
episode more about the whole squad instead of only Barry. And finally Joe
understands that he has to re-open the case. Also Iris has a new name; instead
of the streak Barry is now called “The Flash”…. FINALLY!! Weren’t we all
getting bored of The Streak? Almost forgot about the other Flash that killed
Barry’s mom that also showed up at the Wests house; supposedly he should be
someone from the comics who I won’t mention, but that’s pretty cool if you ask
me.
